distances to major cities (airports), the Mississippi
River, and the distribution capital of the Unites States
(Memphis, TN) - our location can have your goods where

proximity to and a mid-way location to the I-69 NAFTA
Interstate transportation corridor. This corridor
will connect Port Huron, Michigan - the entry point to
Canada and Brownsville, TX - the entry point to Mexico.

Road ::
Mississippi County has Interstate 55 (orange outlined in
red) and U.S. Highway 61(red) which runs parallel from
the north to the south end of the county. The state
highways are highlighted in white and run all over the
county, east and west as well as north and south. All
roads are currently in good condition or being upgraded
to better quality.
I-40 is less than 50 miles to
the south, making Mississippi County, Arkansas an easy
drive to and from a number of cities.
Rail ::
Mississippi County,
Arkansas is proud to work with Burlington-Northern/Sante
Fe (BNSF) Railroad Company. The railroad is highlighted
in Green and can easily connect any rail freight with
the river port or highways. BNSF allows for North/South
distribution and connects with major East/West lines.
Several industrial sites with rail are available and
BNSF service through Mississippi County, Arkansas is
approximately four times a day. Please note the
connections to the Gulf and West Coast Ports. In
addition to BNSF, Mississippi County, Arkansas has
nearby access to four Class-1 railroads they
include: UP, CN/IC, CSX and NS which are all in Memphis.

Air ::
The
Arkansas Aeroplex
is the former Eaker Air Force Base which is located
near Blytheville, Arkansas in the northern part of the
county. It has one of the longest runways in America in
being 11,600 ft long and 300 ft wide, which can
accommodate business jets and most cargo aircraft. The Arkansas Aeroplex
is equipped with the Federal Aviation Administration six
instrument approach. The taxi way is
11,600 ft long and 175 ft wide. The nearest commercial
passenger service would be in Jonesboro, AR or Memphis,
TN.

Arkansas has two municipal airports and one city
airport.
Blytheville Municipal
Airport runway is over 5,000 ft long
Osceola Municipal Airport
runway is 3,800 ft long

3,500 ft long
